Can’t believe it’s my birthday in 25 days omg.

Anonymous whispered: Did you know Catherine Deneuve was in a Marilyn Monroe documentary in the 80s? It's on Youtube and i wanted to watch it, but it's all in French :/

Ah yeah I know she’s a big fan of Marilyn’s! Sorry lovely, I can’t speak French either so I’m not much help, maybe there’s one with subtitles?

Anonymous whispered: It makes me upset that Bert Stern released the pictures that Marilyn didn't like. There's nothing wrong with them but she crossed them out because she didn't like them and it makes me feel as if he took advantage of her dead. It just makes me mad at him and sad for her.

I agree, even though I think some of them are so beautiful, but I never post them or reblog them out of respect for Marilyn.

Anonymous whispered: Hi Megan! I just wanted to say bunny, bunny to you and everyone here(including Marilyn!<3) It's a greeting said on the first of every month to wish health and good luck. So, bunny, bunny everyone! Have a great october! :)

Hey lovely anon! Aww, that’s so sweet, thank you! Bunny bunny to you too! :]

Anonymous whispered: Hi! Did mm ever dislike any of her photoshoots that you know of?

She didn’t like some of the Bert Stern photos which she made clear by crossing them out, she also didn’t like her photos as Marlene Dietrich by Richard Avedon in 1958 for some reason. :[ She was her own worst critic as I for one can’t fault any of her photos!

Anonymous whispered: Do you like other 50's or 60's actresses other than Marilyn?

Yes of course, I absolutely adore Old Hollywood! Rita Hayworth, Vivien Leigh, Brigitte Bardot, Sharon Tate, Catherine Deneuve, Jayne Mansfield, Diana Dors, Jane Russell, Lauren Bacall, Betty Grable, Gene Tierney, Lana Turner, Katharine Hepburn, Shirley MacLaine, Elizabeth Taylor and Sue Lyon are some of my favourites. :]

Anonymous whispered: What was Marilyn's favourite colour?

Red, white, beige and black. :]

Anonymous whispered: Was Marilyn ever in Toronto, Canada? If so are there pictures?

She was in Vancouver, Canada when filming River of No Return in 1953. Most of the pictures were taken by John Vachon, so if you search that photographer on my blog you’ll see them. :]
